As I look back on the last two and a half decades of raising my family, I can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the countless ways my children, now 24, 22, and 15, have benefitted from this generous and supportive community, an enriching and inclusive education, world-class health care, nonprofit organizations, and so many hardworking and kind people who call this great city, home.
The PHriend’s Associate Board gives me an opportunity to give back to the community and help connect other families and children to the resources, services, and opportunities that were always available to my family.
