Working in our crisis and pediatric crisis nurseries, Childcare Providers are assigned up to 5 children, 0-12 years of age, each shift. Each Childcare Provider is primarily responsible for all aspects of the children's care, including providing developmentally-appropriate educational enrichment activities and bathing/toileting/hygiene needs. Care is provided in a trauma-informed way and there is a focus on positive behavior management. Each shift also works as a team to complete additional household duties as assigned.
Qualifications for Childcare Provider positions:
- 21 years of age or older; High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- One to two years of direct paid childcare experience at minimum
- Valid State of Ohio driver’s license
- CPR/First Aid certifications a plus
The following full-time positions are currently open and the typical hours required are:
Position 1) Monday - Thursday, 7:00am - 5:00pm
Position 2) Friday - Sunday, 6:45am - 7:00pm
Position 3) Friday - Sunday, 6:45pm - 7:00am
The starting rate of pay is between $13 and $15 per hour commensurate with experience.
