The Young Team's Pie Day Fundraiser

Every Tuesday before Thanksgiving, The Young Team celebrates our incredible clients, friends, and family with our annual Pie Day event. It’s a Young Team tradition where we hand out nearly 1,000 free pies to past clients, friends, and family. But in 2024, we wanted to make Pie Day even more meaningful by adding a giving-back component.

After thoughtfully considering suggestions from our team, one organization truly stood out: Providence House, Cleveland’s local crisis nursery. Their mission to keep kids safe and families together resonated deeply with us.

At The Young Team, we have the privilege of helping families navigate significant life changes, from joyous new beginnings to challenging transitions. Providence House’s commitment to empowering families and providing essential resources aligns in parallel with our values and dedication to serving families in our community.

Our community’s response to the first year of hosting a fundraiser for Providence House was incredible. Across all three pick-up locations, we collected hundreds of donations, including children’s toys, essential items, food, gift cards, and cash. It was deeply moving to witness such generosity, as our clients wholeheartedly embraced the spirit of giving back with the same enthusiasm and dedication as our team.

We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Providence House for future Pie Day events. It’s an honor to support their vital mission as our city’s local crisis nursery, and we look forward to working together to make an even greater impact in the years to come.
