Calendar of Events:
April 14th, 12:00pm: Lunch & Learn
For 40 years, Providence House has been a leader in working to eradicate child abuse and neglect. In our history, we’ve learned a thing or two about keeping children safe and keeping families. Are you interested in learning more about the topic or seeing how our work has evolved in our 40-year history? Join Providence House for a virtual Lunch & Learn. We’ll talk about the issue of child abuse and neglect, how Providence House has been dedicated to preventing and addressing the issues from the beginning, and what you can do to help.
PS. Don’t forget to wear blue on this day to show your support for preventing child abuse and neglect!
April 21st, 9:00am: Chat with Nat
- Grab your coffee, write down those questions, and sit down for a Chat with Nat! Whether you’re interested in our services, our events, or what it takes to sustain a nonprofit for 40 years, President & CEO Natalie Leek can answer your questions. Interact with Natalie live during the chat, or submit your questions beforehand.
April 24th, 10:00am and 1:00pm: Drive Through Birthday Parties
- We’re turning 40! Celebrate our history of keeping children safe and families together at one of our Drive-Through Birthday Parties. We’ll be hosting parties at both our East and West Side Campuses with balloons, gifts, and goodie bags. Drive through our campus and drop off a monetary or item donation, receive a party favor, and help us ring in 40!
April 27th, 6:00pm: Documentary Screening
- On April 27, 1981, Sister Hope Greener founded Providence House in a little house in Ohio City. Since that day, Providence House has grown, changed, and served over 8,000 families. Now it’s time to tell our story. Tune in to our 40th Anniversary documentary and learn about what we’ve been up to since our founding 40 years ago, and what our plans are for the future.
April 29th, 3:00pm: Virtual Tour
- Interested in what we’ve been up to at our new Providence House campus? We’re excited to take you with us on a virtual tour! Join us on Facebook live as we tour our future Providence House East building in the Buckeye-Shaker neighborhood. She’ll talk about what we’ve been up to since launching our Giving Hope for the PHuture Campaign and our exciting upcoming plans for Providence House.
