Services for Families
Community Referral Program
Our Community Referral Program allows families who do not currently utilize our Crisis Nursery services to receive basic needs items through a referral from a community agency.
The Community Referral Program is an important part of the support services Providence House offers to families, and we are very grateful to be able to provide these basic needs items to help make ends meet.
The items provided through the Community Referral Program come to Providence House through donations, which we rely on to support our daily operations in our Crisis Nurseries. Any items beyond what is needed in our Crisis Nursery are then made available for the Community Referral Program.
We are currently experiencing an extremely high volume of requests for these items, which is causing a delay in processing and fulfilling the requests.
We are working to identify the resources available and restock our supply as quickly as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience this delay may cause.
Referrals must be made by a worker at a community agency or organization on behalf of the client in need of items. If the items are available, Providence House will contact the referring worker to schedule a time to pick up the items for their client at Providence House.
