Services for Families
Overview
We use a multi-generational approach focused on both the child and their family. Read more about our Crisis Nursery approach.
Beyond caring for children, Providence House supports parents/guardians through comprehensive case management services, counseling, parent support and education, links to community services, and up to twelve months of Aftercare support following their child’s discharge from our nursery. When a family comes to Providence House, Licensed Social Workers and parents/guardians discuss reasons for needing services, barriers to family stability, and goals during their child's stay. Each family's crisis level is evaluated and a plan for service delivery is developed to best meet the family's needs.
These services are offered in our Family Center at our West Campus. The Family Center has rooms furnished with couches, tables, chairs, and children’s play equipment for private family visits, parent education, counseling, and other support programs.
Case management services provided by our agency are integral to the family preservation process.
