March is National Social Work Appreciation Month! Today we are celebrating our Family Services Coordinator, Nora. Without Nora, we wouldn’t be able to serve our kids. She has the ability to listen, make a family feel supported, and prepare staff for new families entering PH. https://t.co/pwfKVZR4di

March is National Social Work Appreciation Month! Our Director of Programming and Clinical Operations Ashley Stock wrote a few words about the importance of each member and how their work changes the lives of our children and families. Today we are celebrating our Family Services Coordinator, Nora! "Nora’s work at Providence House is critical to our mission. Without her, we wouldn’t be able to serve the 300+ kids that stay with us annually. Nora has one of the most challenging jobs - managing the waiting list and admitting families. Every day she has to balance the needs of families with the capacity of our agency to support them. She has the ability to listen, make a family feel heard and supported, and prepare social workers and childcare staff for new families entering the program. Her compassion for others positively impacts everyone who has the pleasure of working with her.”
